The Dude

It's another bad anniversary. Here is The Dude hanging out on a warm summer day, posing next to one of his baby pictures. The Dude still abides.

"Love the one you're with"

My cat, Dexter, is having a romance with one of my sweaters. It is part alpaca wool and part merino wool. Whenever he sees it lying on my bed, he begins tenderly "kneading" it, purring ever so loud .. and at some point he bites it ... and at last he settles down to nap with it, purring even more.

I know he's just had a romantic interlude with the sweater and I admire him for making the most of his circumstances. I also admire him for staying to cuddle and not getting up and leaving the sweater right afterward. I think he is a gentleman and a sensitive sort of guy.
